Reuben Robinson [Shast] CV
[b. 1998] Musician, producer, DJ and engineer. London based. Working across formats spanning music production, scoring to visuals, library music production, audio-visual exhibition, radio and mixing/mastering. Also a background in set building and scenic painting for festivals including Boomtown [Botanica District] and Glastonbury [Shangri-La] alongside commercial projects.
Largely interested in the interplay between electronic music production and worldbuilding; using sound alongside set design, moving image and performance to build fictional narratives. This approach inspired me to start Aerial - an ongoing event series with an emphasis on curating set design and performances to help create its own cultural context.
